jr-about

Video Description: Jesus warned that in the final days before His return many false messiahs would come in His Name claiming to be Him. In this hour of great deception there are many different manifestations of those who claim to be “Jesus,” but in reality are not the Biblical Jesus. Islam, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and even America itself, have all created their own preferred versions of “Jesus” that look markedly different from the Biblical Jesus.

In this compelling one-hour teaching, popular Biblical researcher Jerry Robinson exposes hidden deceptions that lurk in these last days and concludes by asking: “Which Jesus do you serve?”

In this powerful and eye-opening presentation, you will be challenged to think — and rethink.

Enjoy the teaching!

Your words stoked a fire in me that led me to the book of I John. How do we justify taking the lives of our brethren in other countries who are fighting to defend their country? Have we erroneously assumed that not one person who loves and follows Jesus has ever been on the other side of the line? Were there surely not some men who who faithful followers of Jesus, who came from England to fight their brethren who had settled here? This isn’t what Jesus did with the Romans, and He didn’t tell the Jews to fight the Romans either. Paul didn’t fight the Romans or the Jews who accused him either. Where did we get the idea that this is godly?

“He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.” (I John 2:9-11)

“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?” (I John 3:16-17)

“If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can[c] he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” (I John 4:20-21)

And just how far will we go in the name of religious freedom – to the point of disregarding the Lord’s sake?

“Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme, or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.” (I Peter 2:13-17)

My personal prayer for myself, after listening to this is Psalm 139:23-24 – “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” And please, LORD, help me know, remember, and keep Your commandment, so that my life may look like Your Son’s, Jesus Christ, the Only Way to You – and help me not be deceived!!!

Thank you, Jerry, for speaking His truth, especially when it is not easy to hear – or easy for you to say, I imagine.

Please continue on with this teaching as the LORD leads you because we, the sheep, need to hear more to help us take a look at our service to the King of kings, to see if we are truly His ambassadors in all situations, ministering reconciliation to all, laying down our lives for our brethren, exchanging laying down our lives to this world for life in Jesus.

Easy to understand explanation of the Jewish sects that I did not understand until now. Great comparison of what different religions believe today about Jesus. Keep it coming we need more.
